Fashion exhibitions are a fascinating way to discover the history of fashion, the talented designers who have made history, as well as past and future trends. The last decade has brought us more fashion exhibitions than ever before and 2023 promises to be even more prolific than the last few years.

The Forever Valentino exhibition at Qatar Museums highlights the work of the famous Italian fashion designer Valentino Garavani. It features a selection of more than 130 haute couture gowns created by Valentino over his 50+ year career. The exhibition also explores Valentino's influence on fashion and culture, as well as his legacy as one of the greatest couturiers of all time.

This exhibition is a celebration of the career of French fashion designer Thierry Mugler. It features over 140 multidisciplinary fashion pieces emblematic of Mugler's impact on fashion and culture. The Gianni Versace Retrospective exhibition presents the work of the famous Italian fashion designer Gianni Versace. The exhibition highlights Peter Kooiker 's provocative and subversive approach to fashion by presenting a selection of his most remarkable photographs. We discover his use of erotic, surreal and sometimes shocking images to explore themes of sexuality, beauty and identity. A redefinition of fashion through her anti-conventional and daring approach to fashion and gender stereotypes.

Mind, Mythos, Muse showcases the work of renowned British fashion designer Alexander McQueen. - Christian Dior: Designer of Dreams' at the Tokyo Museum of Contemporary Art - until May 28, 2023
After its success at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, and having traveled the world from London to New York, the exhibition Christian Dior: Designer of Dreams has taken up residence at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Tokyo. A tribute to Dior's sincere and unique relationship with Japan, this retrospective showcases his iconic haute couture collections and his avant-garde approach to fashion. A unique opportunity to discover this friendship, consolidated by unique collaborations and mutual admiration, is reflected in precious unpublished archival documents.
